A spiritual birth is a divine work of God in the soul. Although it does not occur by our works, we must fulfill certain conditions for God to grant us this wonderful transformation. “Salvation is of the LORD” (Jonah 2:9).

Hear the Gospel
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Believe in Jesus as God’s Son
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Call on God
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Confess
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Repent of Sin
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.
