After being saved, one of the first acts of obedience is for the convert to follow the example of Jesus in full immersion baptism. Baptism is a witness of the resurrected spiritual life in Christ and is an outward testimony of salvation. The Bible instructs new converts to be baptized right after being saved.
This helps fortify the salvation experience and is a means of combating doubts from the enemy.
If you are saved and have not been baptized, I encourage you not to delay.
